BC Rich Guitar

B.C. Rich ST III USA built electric guitar with case.

This is a used/complete rebuild of a mid to late 80’s B.C. Rich ST.  Serial # BC13445 made in LA California.  From what you may find online this range is between
1989 and 1993. I am not the original owner. I picked this up on EBay over ten
years ago. The technical re-work (electronics, level & crown, set-up) was
done by Cremer Guitarworks – World Class Guitar Repairs in Aurora ,IL.  The body is Alder (I think), re-finished to a
deep metallic blue.  The original paint had
the crackle green/black finish (yuck). 
The neck is maple and pin straight, stripped clean and re-oiled (Watco) to
a satin finish.  It is very smooth and
new in appearance, void of any damage. 
The 22 frets have all been leveled and crowned.  And there is still plenty of life left in
them for a long life of playing. 
Rosewood fingerboard.  Original
tuners and neck plate (Serial plate stamped “B.C. Rich TM BC13445 LA California
U.S.A.” ). New black Gotoh SB5303 licensed Floyd Rose w R2 (1” 5/8
nut).  Bridge saddles have been
calibrated to match the radius of the neck (fingerboard).  Moderate to low action – very fast
player.  Bridge humbucker is a new
Dimarzio Tone Zone. Center single coil and bridge single coil are both new Tom
Anderson SD2s.  Body cavity is shielded
very well with conductivity paint and foil. 
New controls and wire are wired with coils split. 
Each pickup has a three way switch wired off-on-on/split for variations
of split coil to full hum canceling. 
Strobed and in tune – ready to play. 
The pickups really compliment this guitar.  From smooth warm single coil to full-on
humbucker high output tone.  Brand new
cavity plates, jack plate and truss rod cover plate. Includes used TLK case
re-fitted to form-fit the guitar, tremolo bar, and a B.C. Rich bumper sticker I
managed to save from an identical guitar I’m keeping. I’ll even throw in
receipts for the parts and labor I spent. 
Don’t underestimate this guitar. 
It was rebuilt for playing, and played well.  It is not without flaws (a ding near the jack
on the rear edge), but whats been invested have made it better than new
for playing.  Unbeatable tone.  This guitars tone has forced me to re-wire
and re-pickup all my other guitars.  I
took many pictures with and without flash to give you a better idea what the
color looks like.
